Friends of Dymchurch Rec are raising funds to rebuild the pavilion at the Dymchurch Recreation Ground. Every event we run and every sale in our volunteer-run charity shop brings us closer to rebuilding this space for everyone to enjoy. The Recreation Ground is an important community space for both visitors and locals alike and has played an important role in the history of the village for many years.

The Recreation Ground is just a ten minute walk from the centre of the village and close to the RH&DR Dymchurch station. Complete with football goals, a multi use games area, an area for young children to play, swings and a zip line, there is plenty of space to let off steam or fly a kite. Please note there are currently no toilet facilities at the recreation ground.

Current Fund Raising Total as at November 2025: £123,000
