Greening

Greening to us is the application of common sense to the task of improving our Godshill environment for the benefit of the whole Godshill Community.

As such, our working groups are acting in tandem with what we like to feel is our 'Alter Ego', our friends in Godshill Matters. Together we will be working on projects that will benefit the Godshill Community.

We have been fortunate to become involved in the Greening Campaign which was first set up by Terena Plowright over on the mainland some 18 years ago. We are part of a new Hampshire & IoW project which provides us with valuable information and professional support. We have reached out and are sharing the benefits with the three other parishes in Central Rural, Arreton, Chillerton & Gatcombe and Rookley.

We are also in contact with the other organisations on the island who are working and promoting the same greening message.
