Strategy & Long-Term Plan

This group ensures that the Parish Council has all appropriate policies in place, that they are kept up-to-date and are implemented effectively. All policies are available for inspection on the Parish Council's website. This group also works over the longer term to evolve the current Parish Plan into the plan for the next period.

RESPONSIBILITIES / TERMS OF REFERENCE

  • To ensure that, as far as is reasonable, all households and organisations have an opportunity to contribute to the Parish Council’s current plans and strategic objectives
  • To work with the Isle of Wight Council in the identification of local strategic objectives
  • To ensure that the Parish Council has all appropriate policies in place, that they are kept up-to-date and are implemented effectively
