It's that time of year again...SUMMER REGISTRATION 2026 is upon us!

 

Payment for membership can be made at registration weekend - made via cash or cheque made payable to Gosport Bowling Club. (£90 full member)

If anyone is unavailable for those dates or would prefer to register and pay online please contact Mandy Wilde (gbcclubsec@gmail.com) for your membership number and payment details. 

Online registration will be open from 1st Feb.

Please note, to ease admin for our treasurer, please ensure you have contacted myself before making online payments. We will use your new membership number to help track online payments.

The kitchen will be open for teas/coffees and bacon rolls for registration weekend - Cash only

 

ABOUT US

Gosport Bowling Club, established in 1925, originally featured one green, with a second added in 1977. The club underwent privatization in 1992, leading to an agreement where the club officers and Gosport Borough Council drafted a lease. Under this arrangement, the club took responsibility for the interior maintenance of the clubhouse, while the council looked after the exterior and the greens. The club benefited significantly from Ronald Sellwood, a long-standing member who bequeathed his entire estate to it. This generous donation funded the construction of the 'Ron Sellwood Pavilion.'

The club is situated on land that was once a creek, historically known as Kings Bottom.
