2026 is a special year for the Society

It is our 40th anniversary and we will be celebrating this at the Private View.

Early in 1986, a small group of enthusiastic amateur artists discussed the formation of an art society in Lechlade. Under the leadership of Tom Askwith, an amateur artist with many years experience, the Lechlade Art Society was formed and soon grew to a membership of 100 with an active working Committee. It has thrived ever since.
