               Welcome to the Groby Community Library website

NEWS!   Groby Library is getting a new Library Management System (LMS). The update is due to take place between 6th and 17th of February.

All Leicestershire libraries are getting the new system and there will be some impact on our users including:

- Placing holds/reservations will not be possible between 3rd January and 17th February.

- The online catalogue on the LCC website will not be available to renew or reserve items during those dates.

- Printing from public computers will not be possible from 6th - 17th February

As with any new system it is going to take time for everyone to get used to the new system including all our volunteers. Please bear with us during this time. For more information see http://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/libraries

'Cuppa and Company' - Our next coffee mornings will take place on the second and fourth Fridays of the month 10.30-11.30am.      
 
‘Wriggly Readers’ is now held every Thursday from 10.30-11.00am

Construction Club is now held every Wednesday from 3.00-4.30pm

             Groby Community Library is situated in the heart of Groby in Leicestershire.

The library is a registered charity and is managed and run by a team of dedicated volunteers.

Our aim is to make the library welcoming and accessible to all members of the local community. As well as a range of library services we also organise events and outings and make the library available to groups and societies. We also have the Time Out café, a great place to catch up with friends over a hot drink and cake!

Our library is one of a network of community libraries in Leicestershire and our book stock and computer systems are part of the Leicestershire County Council system.

If you have a Leicestershire County Council library card you can borrow and return your books at Groby Library.
