Charity Day - Sunday 16th August 2026

The Charity Day turned out to be a spectacular success with more than 40 members and friends turning out to enjoy socialising and bowling in super conditions.

Anne Perrett and her team had arranged the whole event which included a couple of bowling competitions, a wonderful lunch and a generously stocked raffle. Huge thanks must go them for their organisational skills, and also to everybody who generously donated food for the buffet and raffle prizes, and to those who helped behind the scenes and participated on the day to make the event such a success.

The result was that the club raised the fantastic total of £910 for the Trafford South Food Bank charity - which far exceeded our expectations - so, very well done Hale & Hermitage Bowling Club!
