Welcome to the Hamstreet Short Mat Bowls Club, located in the charming village of Hamstreet in Kent, England. Our club is dedicated to promoting the sport of short mat bowls and providing a fun, welcoming environment for players of all skill levels.
Short mat bowls is a variation of the traditional outdoor game of lawn bowls, played on a shorter mat indoors. It is a great sport for all ages and abilities, and requires a combination of skill, strategy, and precision. It is a great way to keep active and meet new people, as well as being a fun and social activity.
The Hamstreet Short Mat Bowls Club was established in 1988, and since then we have grown to become a well-respected and active club in the local community. We have a dedicated and friendly group of members, and we are always looking to welcome new players to the club.
We have a range of activities and events throughout the year, including regular club nights, tournaments, and friendly matches against other clubs in our local league. We also have a range of teams that compete in local leagues, giving members the opportunity to test their skills against other players.
In addition to our regular club activities, we also offer coaching and lessons for those who are new to the sport, or who want to improve their skills. Our experienced coaches will work with you to develop your technique and help you to become a better player.
The club is at Victory Hall on Hamstreet road and is easily accessible. We have a well-maintained and equipped indoor facilities, including 3 mats, and ample parking for members and visitors.
