End od Season 2025
Harrow Weald Bowling Club
In context we have had a successful season. Despite struggling with injuries we finished 4th in the Veterans League and 4th in the Bidgood League.
Despite the showers our Club Competition Finals proved to be some of most competetive and entertaining matches I have ever seen at Harrow Weald. The margins between success and failure when you have reached that last hurdle, can be very cruel. Commiserations to those who nearly won, but of course without them there would not have been such brilliant finals.
Our final match 'The Men' versus 'The Ladies' for the 'Freddie Cull Cup' was hard fought, with the girls beating the boys - 3 rinks to 2 - but the overall number of shots saw the boys winning by about 6 shots. Our club's next match is against Herga in 2026.
So we wish everyone health and happiness for the remainder of 2025 and we hope to see you in 2026.
