Singing for the Mind

Since April 2017 we have stepped in to provide this service, so that singing sessions are still weekly on a Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 - 3:00pm. They are normally held at Hartley Wintney Football Club, Green Lane, Hartley Wintney, Hook, Hampshire, RG27 8DL (see map below). If we are not there, we are at the WI Hut which is 200 yards on the left before the Football Club in Green Lane, when coming from Fleet Road, and has its own car park.

These sessions are open to anyone living with dementia, their family, carers and friends.  There is no need to tell us in advance that you plan to attend, so please just come along on any Wednesday. Our thanks go to Greenfields School for allowing people to use their car park and members of local choirs who come along to help.

The sessions are run by a professional music facilitator and there is a charge of £5 per session for either someone coming alone or for two people attending together.
