    A number of very enjoyable games played today. Lots of evidence to show the work in training is paying off. Teams are starting to gel and our new players are picking up valuable match practice. Lots of mud, smiles and energy burned this weekend. Can’t ask for more than that!

    Lots of standout displays today, most notably a terrific debut for Leo and Alannah putting in a Player of the match display in just her second game:

    Congratulations to Archie for a brave display in goal w...ith some great stops to earn him the Fireballs Player of the Match trophy for the Red. Nice work Archie 🔥⚽️

    Oliver Hall was the Spirit of the Match winner today for the Fireballs Red. Oliver had two great games, working really hard for the team, particularly great shielding of the ball and dribbling work. Keep it up Oliver 🔥⚽️

    Very proud of our Hatch Warren Phoenix Wildcat turned Fireball Alannah today who in her second game put in a display we’ll not forget in a hurry. A very much deserved Player of the Match, amazing stuff Alannah, well done! 🔥⚽️

    Delighted to see our newest Fireball put in a truly awesome display today to earn him the Spirit of the Match award for the Fireballs Purple, congratulations on an outstanding debut Leo 🔥⚽️

    Today’s Fireballs Black Player of the match went to the awesome Lucas, who runs every inch of the pitch and today managed to subdue a very good opponent. Great tackling, passing and shooting. All done with a smile. Terrific job Lucas 🔥⚽️

    Another epic display from Elliot, never taking his eye of the ball and making a number of game changing tackles and passes. A Spirit of the Match performance if ever I saw one. Well done Elliot 🔥⚽️

    An awesome display in goal for Chloe today against some big shots. Definitely deserved the Fireballs Black Player of the Match. Well done Chloe, another epic display 🔥⚽️

    Two massive defensive displays for the Oranges saw a double award for Spirit of the Match. Both Ryan & Harley worked tirelessly for the team and covered lots of ground. Covered in mud and full of smiles. Nice work boys 🔥⚽️

    Finally, a quick shout out to our senior Phoenix players who stepped up to referee. Thanks and well done to Josh & Jack.
