Rookie mistake travelling to Andover in inappropriate attire. Have you ever been to Andover without having to face those chilly Arctic winds? Of course not.

Having said that, the mighty Fire enjoyed another tournament day. We topped our group, conceding only one goal in 6 games, to qualify for the semi finals.

After a tricky win against Sarisbury to advance to the final, we faced Eastleigh FC who we had beaten in our group games earlier. Unfortunately an early goal left us chasing the game and we could not claw our way back. We finished as runnerups of the Andover Town tournament.

It was an eye catching performance from Krys as all of these tournaments are helping him progress and prepare for his first season with the Fire. It is always special for the coaches to see their players score their first goals for the Club, and Krys certainly enjoyed those moments. Macca contributed a hat-full of goals and is another player we look forward to playing full time with the Fire. We will be signing one more player, and a part time player, as we prepare for 11 aside next season.

The future definitely looks bright for the Hatch Warren Fire!
