About the Club

Hayes Bowls Club was established in 1936 and in 2026 we proudly celebrate our 90th anniversary. Over the decades the club has evolved, but our core values remain the same: friendliness, inclusivity, and enjoyment of the game.

We are a genuinely mixed-age club, with our youngest player aged 15 and our President aged 95. Members often describe the club as feeling like an extended family, where everyone is encouraged to take part, whether socially or competitively.

Although our location can be challenging for some, it has not stopped us growing. We have members who travel regularly from Maidenhead, Loudwater, Stokenchurch and surrounding areas, drawn by the atmosphere, the quality of play, and the sense of belonging the club offers.

As part of our 90th anniversary celebrations, we will be hosting special bannerette games and events throughout the season, including a confirmed anniversary game on 30 June, with further dates to be announced.
