We were delighted to welcome teams from Burgess Hill, Hurstpierpoint and Storrington for our Community Cup day. Under grey skies but with surprisingly little rain during the hours of play, men’s and women’s teams played pairs, triples and rinks - fortified throughout the day by hot sausage and onion rolls, and a huge quantity of homemade cakes!
The winner of the event was Hurstpierpoint - like all the clubs, their prize cheque was presented by Brian Harker, the Henfield BC President.
