Holland-on-Sea (formerly York Road) Bowls Club has existed since 1949.  We have more than 160 men and women members, mainly playing and some social.  We regard ourselves as a democratic, inclusive club wherein every member's enjoyment, participation and views count. Members voluntarily maintain the club's facilities, for example, green-keeping, grounds improvement, catering and social events.  Thus, costs are kept to a minimum and we all have an investment of which we are very proud.

New members are welcomed and immediately have the same rights of enjoyment and participation as longer term members.  

Men and women have an opportunity to participate in local leagues, enter area and County competitions, play in friendly matches and enter internal annual knock-out competitions.  A programe of carpet bowls and table tennis is available during winter months, along with a good calendar of social events.
