Holwell Sports BC had the privilege of hosting the Bowls England Top Club competition Area Final for the Notts/Lincs/Derbys area on Sunday 19th July. The match was played between the Notts representatives, Langwith Junction BC, and the Lincs representatives, Royal Mail Cart BC. It was played over 5 disciplines - 2 wood singles, 4 wood singles, pairs, triples and fours. The match was played competitively and to a very high standard, and won by Royal Mail Cart BC by 4 rinks to 1. Praise was given to HSBC, by both teams, for the provision of the green, facilities, and organisation of these on their behalf.
