Councillor Vacancy

Do you want to do something positive? Would you like to make a difference and be involved in shaping your local community? Your Parish Council needs YOU!

Hordley Parish Council currently have vacancies for new councillors. You would be required to attend up to six Council meetings a year and to be willing to represent the Council at occasional external meetings.

You are eligible to be a councillor provided that you are at least 18 years old and a citizen of the UK, European Community or Commonwealth AND an elector in the Parish (or during the past year have lived or worked in the parish or have lived within three miles of it) AND are not disqualified.

If you are interested in becoming a councillor, then please contact the Clerk for more information. Applications will be considered at the Council’s meeting on 18 January 2024.
