There is to be the Annual Parish Meeting on Tuesday 12 May at 6.30pm and the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council on Tuesday 12 May at 7pm.

Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting is a traditional event in English local government, held each year between 1 March and 1 June, and is a meeting of the local electors rather than the parish council itself. Its origins date back to historic parish governance, giving residents a forum to discuss local issues, celebrate community achievements, and raise matters of interest or concern. Unlike regular council meetings, it is an opportunity for the whole community to come together, share ideas, and hear updates from the parish council and local groups.

Our Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Tuesday 12th May at 6.30pm, ahead of our usual Parish Council meetings, and we warmly welcome all residents, community organisations, and local groups to attend, participate, and contribute to discussions about our parish and its future.

Should you wish to be involved in the Annual Parish Meeting, please email the clerk here expressing your interest no later than April 30th 2026.
