At Calverhall & Ightfield Village Hall, we live by our 4 C's:
Community
We strengthen our village by supporting local groups and clubs. As part of this, we offer discounted use of the hall to local volunteer groups and CICs fundraising for their own activities, and we've been proud to help with donations to organisations such as the Tennis Club and Bowls Club.
Connection
Our hall is a place where people from different backgrounds, age groups, and walks of life can come together. From toddler groups and coffee mornings to fitness classes and quizzes, it's about building friendships, reducing isolation, and creating a sense of belonging.
Collaboration
We believe the hall is strongest when used as a shared resource. That's why we work closely with a wide range of local organisations - from sports clubs and schools to community groups and charities - to support their activities. By collaborating, we're able to share skills, pool resources, and make sure that everyone in the village benefits.
