On Sunday 6th February members of Leighton & Eaton Constantine Parish Council  planted a "Liquid Amber" tree to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II ascension to the throne. 

It was a damp morning and was attended by the Leader of Shropshire Council  Lezley Picton, the local Shropshire Councillor Claire Wild, the Arboricultural Officer from Shropshire Council Siobhan Reedy, John McClean BEM and also attending was the Parish Council Clerk   Lorna Pardoe. Leighton & Eaton Constantine Parish Council was represented by Chairman Sue Jones, Sue Dawes, Elaine Parton , Alan Bain and Mark Budgen.

After the planting which was done by many of those attending everyone adjourned to the Local Pub, The Mill where the landlord kindly opened up for coffee and biscuits to allow those attending to get warm and dry .
