Welcome to Long Eaton Town Bowls Club. One of the premier bowls clubs in Derbyshire.

We were founded in 1886 and are affiliated to both Derbyshire Bowls and Derbyshire EBF.

Although highly competitive, entering many competitions each season, the Club is still aware of it’s roots and actively encourages friendly games on Saturdays between local teams, to enable the less competitive bowler to participate in the sport.  Always happy to welcome new bowlers, we have both ladies and gents bowlers of mixed abilities, ranging from beginners through to County and international level. The more experienced bowlers are more than happy to help and advise both newcomers and even established bowlers, at times.

Take a look at our New Bowlers page if you are interested in taking up lawn bowls with us.

As well as having what is acknowledged as one of the best bowling greens in Derbyshire and being the home green for many of Bowls Derbyshire county games, there’s a Club House for socialising after games and during the closed season. The Club House is available for hire by the public, helping to maintain the community links that were forged at the very beginning.
