Forest School Forest School
Lowdham Preschool Forest School

Our Forest School is located at the Millennium Wood at the Brackenhurst Campus (University of Nottingham) on the outskirts of Southwell on the A612. The site has been carefully constructed in a woodland clearing allowing the children to be safe whilst giving the the opportunities to explore.

what is a Forest School? - it is a secure area pf woodland which acts as an outdoor classroom where children can explore, investigate and discover the natural environment. Forest school provides an excellent opportunity to bring learning to life, allowing children to explore and learn in a constructive and physical way. This inspirational process increases self- confidence, self-esteem and improves children ability to work co-operatively.
