Hedge Cutting
We usually arrange for the boundary hedges to be cut twice a year - firstly in March/April and secondly in October/November funded with thanks by Blofield Parish Council. We aim to do this at these timings to better support the local wildlife. Once we have confirmed dates in the diary for hedge cutting we will post them here. The boundary hedges are cut to a height of approximately 2m high.
Hedges are cut by a professional company contracted by the Hall.
We are responsible for our side of the boundary hedge and neighbours sharing the boundary hedge are responsible for cutting their own side of their hedge, wether you have added an additional fence to your garden or not. If trimmings from our cut fall into your garden you are welcome to toss them back. Please dispose of your own hedge trimmings.
Hedges are now next due to be cut in APRIL/MAY 2026.
Some trimming by hand may occur where necessary between cuts - usually around the tennis court edges.
