The Matthews Room

We are very excited that the project to provide a smaller meeting space is now ready to be used although we await the posh new furniture.  The room, formerly called the Green Room, is intended to be multifunctional, primarily for those who have small numbers. The cost is £10 "per session" of 3 hours (morning/afternoon/evening), but this may be waived for Community Activities.

To date, the space has been booked for a 1:1 dance tutorial, Parish Council Working Groups, and the NHS recently used the room to set up a medical hub for local people, saving the need to travel into Dorchester. Just a few of the diverse uses our new facility has attracted even though it wasn't  fully fitted out.

The intention is that the space can also be used as a "Warm Room" should an incident in the Village leave individuals needing support.
