The Matthews Room

The Matthews Room is now open!  It is intended to be an adaptable multifunctional space, primarily for those who do not require the main hall.  It is now fully fitted out and will comfortably seat 8-10 around tables for training, conferences or meetings, and has a smart TV which has a HDMI cable ready to plug and play, or can be connected via the wifi  ("cast" by android devices or "AirDrop" from apple). It also has USB or bluetooth connections.

To date, the space has been booked for 1:1 dance and vocal training tutorials, Parish Council Working Groups, and the NHS recently used the room to set up a medical hub for local people, saving the need to travel into Dorchester.

The cost is £10 "per session" of 3 hours (morning/afternoon/evening), but this may be waived for Community Activities. The Trustees' intention is that the space can also be used as a "Warm Room" should an incident in the Village leave individuals needing support.
