1st Witley Brownies Visit

We hosted the 1st Witley brownies to a mini bowls taster evening.

We had 22 brownies come and give bowls a try. Great fun was had by all, including the troups parliament of Owls and their other helpers who came along to supervise but were more than keen to also give it a go. The good early summer weather, we at last have, provided great bowling conditions and the green ran exceptionally well, yes some of these young folk made the ditch, so much for short easy jacks!

A big thank you to Keri (Snowy Owl) for arranging this event, she gets a brownie point for finding an activity that none had done before. Also thanks to and to the Milford helpers, Chelsea, Teresa, Val M, Daron, John E, Jackie and Frank, renamed Frankinstein by his adoring brownie friends; he was so well behaved, hopefully he has recovered from sooooo much attention.
