Finals day part 2

....and so we continue. Day 2 saw the last 2 remaining club competitions being played, the club pairs, aka 'aussie pairs' being played in the morning with the 3 wood finishining off our finals celebrations.

The aussie pairs was played between Ray Davis & Helen Burgess against Naomi Brady & John Everest (winners), the morning game was followed by a more informal lunch, as chosen by the players, bacon butties followed by apple crumble and custard, so good you can eat it twice.....and some did!

The afternoon, the final match, the 3 wood, was played between Helen Burgess (winner) and Stephen Saunders, marker Juls Howard.

Ray Davis is congratulated as winner of the aggregate cup.

What a great end to our club season, just a few friendlies to play. We saw excellent bowling, much fun and laughter, great food and drink, what is not to like. It seems a long time until next year but we are already looking forward to it.
