Welcome to the Monkton Parish Council Website

Please contact the Parish Council if you have any concerns or ideas about Monkton.

Monkton is a village and civil parish in the Thanet District of Kent, England. 

The village is located at the south-western edge of the Isle of Thanet, Kent between Ramsgate and Canterbury.

The parish stretches south to the River Stour and northwards towards Acol.  The hamlet of Gore Street is included in the parish.

There are many interesting sites in and around Monkton, please use the menu for more information on this friendly and pretty village.

PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS

Meetings will usually be held on the first Monday of the month, January, March, May, July, September, November

  All meetings start at 7.00pm and are held in Monkton Village Hall.  

 The meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to listen to the proceedings, although they are not entitled to participate in the business of the meeting, without the invitation of the Chairman.
