Update - Gas Network Upgrades - Bow Road Wateringbury

Update - Friday 25 July 2025

Our gas network upgrades along Bow Road are progressing well. We've replaced our old pipes from its junction with A26 Tonbridge Road to just past the junction with Leney Road so far. Our engineers will continue Bow Road to just short of the junction with Waterside Mews.

Bow Road will remain closed for the duration of our work, but we will be moving the closure point away from the junction of A26 Tonbridge Road to the other side of Leney Road on Monday 28 July.

This will allow access only for residents and businesses from A26 Tonbridge Road as far as and into Leney Road. The diversion route will need to be followed for residents and businesses the other side of our closure point.

All being well, we are on schedule to complete this work by Sunday 31 August.

We thank Wateringbury residents and businesses for their continued patience while we complete this essential work to provide a safe and reliable supply of gas to the area.

Kind Regards
