PLEASE ensure when you are walking your dogs, that they are under control and on leads. This is particuoarly important at this time of year when sheep are giving birth to their lambs. A number of lambs have been reprted as having been killed by dogs that were NOT UNDER CONTROL.

PLEASE also note that farmers are well within their rights to SHOOT dogs that are seen to be worrying sheep.

We love our contryside and we love seeing lambs in fields, we also love our dogs, so PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE behave responsibly and keep your dogs under control when near livestock.
