Walks

North Crawley History and Fitness walks

North Crawley is blessed by having one of the most interesting histories of any village in the whole of Buckinghamshire, with many of the country’s high profile figures over the ages either living here or owning lands here. We even had King David of Scotland intervening in the Cranfield – North Crawley village border dispute!  Beat that one Nicola!!

At the same time, with continuing restrictions and lockdowns, the Parish Council wants everyone to brighten things up for themselves with a walk around the parish, whether short or long, to maintain their interest and wellbeing and to take advantage of our excellent network of Public Footpaths.

To this end, the Council is publishing over the next few months, a series of historically annotated walks with illustrations of which the first is a 3 mile circuit.
