Welcome to Northallerton Bowling Club.

The Club was founded in 1900 and has occupied the present site since 1910.  We have a beautiful bowling green surrounded by trees and gardens and comfortable sitting and viewing areas for spectators.

The green opens for bowling in April of each year and closes in September.

During the winter months we play carpet bowls and snooker. In addition, we have a varied and busy social calendar with Open Mic evenings and other events throughout the year.

Presidents Message 2026

It is with great pride that I continue as your club president for 2026.

2025, our 125th celebration year, was a great year for the club, marked by outstanding results across the board, from internal club competitions to national finals at Leamington and everything in-between. Another major milestone was marked by winning the JSW League, the first Northallerton win since 1987. Silverware comes with all of this success but it also gives a great sense of pride and achievement. Well done everyone.

We were also extremely fortunate to be able to record our celebratory year on video and capture so many members in action on the green and also to see them relaxing and enjoying the very important social aspect that comes with bowling.

The club's continued success is the result of hard work, commitment and participation by everyone, so please continue to support all activities, on and off the green, where you can.

My thanks to the club and team captains, the committee and the team of hard working volunteers who continue to give so much of their time and without whom the club would not exist.

Finally, I wish you all a happy, successful and most importantly, an enjoyable 2026 season here at Northallerton Bowls Club.
