Shed Song & Video

 

Nursling Men's Shed has recorded a new song about the Shed, written by Graham Gowman our Chairman, and it's going to be included in a play about Men's Sheds which is going to be performed at Titchfield Festival Theatre.

We have put together a short video with the recording as the soundtrack.

Nursling Men's Shed is located in Church Lane, Nursling SO16 0YB next to St Boniface Church - it's good to see something older than us!

We are members of UKMSA, and are located 300 metres from the River Test and 400 metres from the M27

We setup in 2019 and spent the 'Covid' years renovating the run down hall which had been used for storage for many years.

Initially we worked on the floor and decoration, to make it safe to use, and then added a toilet, kitchen and workshop. New electrics and new double glazed windows have created a facility that is an asset for Nursling and the surrounding area. Building and repairing items are a major focus of the shed with the wide range of skills and experience that members bring, but it is of course perfectly acceptable to come along, drink tea and watch someone else working.

We meet on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning from around 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, no need to book - just come and meet some friends you never knew you had.
