WELCOME TO OXTON PARISH COUNCIL 

Oxton Parish Council is the first tier of local government serving the residents of Oxton. We are committed to representing the interests of our community, enhancing the village environment, and working together to preserve the unique character of Oxton.

Oxton is a designated conservation area, within the greenbelt, recognised for its historical and architectural significance. The Parish Council works to protect this heritage while supporting the needs of a modern, thriving rural community.

The Parish Council works to:

  • Maintain and improve local amenities and public spaces
  • Support community events and initiatives
  • Represent the village in discussions with higher levels of government
  • Respond to planning applications and development proposals with special regard to our conservation status
  • Ensure transparency, accountability, and community engagement

We encourage residents to take part in parish life—whether by attending our meetings, volunteering, or contacting us with your ideas, feedback, or concerns.
