The Group's Campaign

The formation of the Group followed unsuccessful representations made by a small group of local residents to the Parish Council, urging them to suspend the Examination of the draft Much Hadham Neighbourhood Plan so that consideration could be given to allocating the Hill House site (the former Barn School) for housing and withdrawing The Bull site.  The residents concerned also met and wrote to Punch Pubs.  The representations made then were followed up by the formal Save The Bull Action Group once it had been established.  The relevant correspondence is below.

The minutes of the Group's inaugural meeting are also below, together with minutes of the Group's Management Committee meetings and of the Group's first AGM in November 2023.

The message sent to members in February 2024 sets out the latest position regarding the impending change of tenancy, the proposed internal improvements to the pub and Punch's planning application for approval to build six bungalows on the field at the rear of the pub.
