MCLP Representations
Save The Hoo Peninsula has made detailed representations on the emerging Local Plans affecting the Hoo Peninsula, setting out our concerns about the scale, location and cumulative impact of proposed development.
Our representations address issues including wildlife and protected habitats, agricultural land, transport and infrastructure, landscape, heritage, settlement character and the sustainability of the overall development strategy.
STHP has also instructed Richard Buxton Solicitors (RBS), specialists in environmental and planning law, to act on our behalf. RBS has made formal legal representations raising concerns about the Local Plan process, the supporting evidence and the potential environmental consequences of the proposals.
This page brings together STHP's own representations and the submissions made by Richard Buxton Solicitors on behalf of STHP, so that residents, supporters and decision-makers can see the evidence and arguments we have put forward.
These documents form an important part of our campaign to ensure that the future of the Hoo Peninsula is properly scrutinised and that its communities, wildlife, countryside and heritage are given the protection they deserve.
