SEEND VILLAGE TIDY-UP – SATURDAY MAY 16TH
Seend Community Centre at 09.30 am
Thank you to everyone volunteering to help keep Seend looking its very best! Here are some of the jobs and areas being tackled around the village:
Community Clean-Up Tasks
• Bus shelters
• Wildlife meadow & weeds on High Street
• Grass by tennis courts and tack shed
• North & south footpaths
• Rusty Lane and car park
• Telephone kiosk (library)
• Church and surroundings
• Primary School & School Road
• Lye Field & pavilion
• Community Centre & noticeboards
• Defibrillators
• Street sweeper
• Weavers’ Cottages
• Millennium Garden & play area
• Hedges & roadside verge checks
• Post Office, shop & frontage
• Allotments
Litter Pick Areas
• Bollands Hill – Bradley Lane to 30mph sign
• Spout Lane to Inmarsh Lane
• Spout Lane to top of Bollands Hill (both sides)
• South footpath behind church to Inmarsh Lane
• North footpath from Spout Lane through Wiltshire’s field to School Road
• Bell Hill – Weavers’ Cottages to High Street
A Clean Sweep
High Street pavements:
a) School Road to Dial Close
b) Dial Close to The Lye
c) The Lye to Greenheyes
d) Greenheyes to top of Inmarsh Lane
e) Dial Close pavements

Every little bit helps, whether it’s sweeping, weeding, litter-picking or tidying your frontage.
Together we can keep Seend looking beautiful and make the whole village proud.
