Welcome to the Shires Bowls Club website. We are a lawn bowls club situated on the ground of The Shires Pub & Restaurant, between Kirton in Lindsey and Hibaldstow.

We are an EBA and EBF affiliated club which competes in the Scunthorpe & District bowls league and across Lincolnshire

Our club has a proud history of team and individual achievements, known for having a strong competitive squad member list, however, we also have a strong social aspect to the club with a new 2nd team in the league to assist new members development and members who prefer the a more social side to the sport we all love.

We currently have the below teams for the forthcoming 2026 season;

Scunthorpe District Bowls League 1st Team - Division 1
Scunthorpe District Bowls League 2nd Team *NEW* - Division 4
North Lincs Mixed Triples League - Division 1
Scunthorpe District Bowls League Ladies Team - Ladies Division
Bowls Lincolnshire EBA League - North Section
