Shuttington And Alvecote Parish Hall ‘Make-Over’

Shuttington and Alvecote Parish Hall, has secured a £42,000 grant from Biffa Award; a multi-million pound fund that helps to build communities and transform lives through awarding grants to community and environmental projects across the UK, as part of the Landfill Communities Fund.

The project, which was awarded funding under the Biffa Award’s Community Buildings theme, enabled the hall to be refurbished and provide a warm and welcoming venue that the community has benefitted from. By installing up to date modern heating throughout, insulating and replacing the ceiling to the main hall and changing rooms, upgrading the windows and doors the whole hall has been improved.​
