CISWO supports ex mine-workers and their dependent families in many ways.
Each area has a local worker who, when home visits are available again, will be able to offer face-to-face appointments.
Since March 2020 we have continued to work throughout the pandemic by contacting our clients by phone, offering our support and advice to those in need of help, with welfare benefit claims, grant giving, and all areas of advice for those struggling to access the statutory and voluntary services that they would usually contact.
If you would like more information or are aware of anyone who may have worked in the coal industry and/or their dependent families, please contact CISWO or visit https://www.ciswo.org.uk/helping-you
