Smiths Dock Bowling Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) 24th October 2026
In accordance with the Club Constitution, notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Smiths Dock Bowling Club will take place on:
- Date: Saturday 24th October, 2026
- Time: 10:30am
- Venue: Clubhouse
The AGM will include the presentation of annual reports and accounts, election of General Committee members, confirmation of fees, appointment of an auditor, consideration of any proposed amendments to the Constitution, and confirmation of any new Honorary Life Members.
Nominations for all Officer and General Committee positions are now open. Members wishing to stand for a role must ensure their nomination is:
- Proposed and seconded by two full or Honorary members
- Submitted for only one General Committee role per member
- Received no later than: Sunday 11th October (13 days before the AGM, in accordance with the Constitution)
Late nominations cannot be accepted unless positions remain vacant at the AGM, in which case the General Committee may permit nominations from the floor.
A list of positions available for election is displayed on the clubhouse notice board throughout the nomination period.
Members wishing to raise Any Other Business for the AGM agenda must also submit this to the Committee no later than Sunday 11th October. Items received after this date cannot be included, and all submissions will be considered for inclusion on the agenda in accordance with the Constitution.
As required by the Constitution, the full AGM agenda and the final list of nominations will be circulated to all members at least 7 days before the meeting and displayed in the clubhouse.
