Postponed 2025 Club Competition Finals Matches

Due to inclement weather, it was not possible to complete all the finals of the Club competitions during the 2025 season. Last Sunday (April 26th), two of the outstanding matches were played in front of a small audience. Who were able to appreciate some quality, competitive matches played under ideal weather conditions.

The final of the Ladies Singles competition was played between Mary Sutton and Jan Cruwys with Mary, running out the winner after an excellent match.

The other match was the Mixed Pairs competition, played between Dave Forsyth & Peter King playing against Glynne Jones & Trevor Collins with the former pair winning narrowly by one shot on the last end.

Another outstanding match, namely the Mixed Triples final has recently been rescheduled to be played on Saturday, May 23rd at 14:30 with the finalists being Ann Kelly, Sue Withers & Harry Kretz playing against Jan Cruwys, Audrey Pilkington & Brian Pearson.
