WELCOME TO SPRING PARK SHIRLEY BOWLS CLUB WEBSITE

The 2026 Commonwealth Games are well and truly over with England finishing 2nd in the Medal table.

DID YOU KNOW:

That the England’s Bowls and Para Bowls team had a terrific medal haul totalling six – three golds, two silvers and one bronze.  This saw them finish the Games as by far the most successful country in the Commonwealth taking home medals in all-but-one discipline.

Maybe you watched some of the bowls events on TV, even if you didn't, you are welcome to come and try your hand at bowls.  Just pop in and see us, we will organise a time to give you a taste of bowls OR email spsbc@outlook.com OR message/phone Chris on 07518059127 and we will get back to you.

On the final day of the Commonwealth Games 2026, we held a fun competition called Aussie Pairs.  Twelve pairs entered and enjoyed an afternoon of fun and laughter followed by tea and cake.

We are a very friendly club and all abilities are welcome.  We hold informal roll-ups every week day afternoon in the season (Late April to end of September) with League and friendly matches on some week-day and weekend afternoons.  We also open on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.  The bowling green can be open on other evenings by arrangement. Please note, anyone of any ability, young or old, can enjoy playing bowls.
