Our club is open from April to September for outdoor grass bowls and from October to March for indoor short mat bowls.  We welcome bowlers old and new and provide free learner sessions. Contact our Captain Neil Macklin on 07980 559025 or our Secretary Richard Walden on 07870 269861.  

Short Mat season is from October to April. Roll ups on Mondays at 6pm. Enquiries to our Captain or Secretary above. We have a mentoring system for new players (see Short Mat pages)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW BOWLERS - EVERYONE WELCOME - WE OFFER COACHING FOR BEGINNERS AND A DISCOUNT ON YOUR FIRST YEAR

OUTDOOR SEASON starts again on Sunday 13 April at 2pm with an opening roll up. All welcome.

Monday night at 6pm is roll-up night. Please arrive promptly so that teams can be allocated - and coaching can be organised if you are new to the game. Dress is casual and anyone can join in. Just wear flat soft shoes - we can provide bowls and coaching for beginners until you feel confident to join in a game. Once you feel ready have a look at the variety of fixtures organised for this year - a mixture of league games, friendlies and fun events so something for everyone.  Bring along family and friends - the bar is usually open.  

We work with local community charities and we welcome groups if they want to come and have their own bowling sessions where you will be coached by experienced players.  We have so far done this for ASDA staff, WI groups and for the second year running this year we have a group of teachers from Stride Active.  If you are interested in bringing a group please phone our Secretary (number above).  
 

George’s Fund. This year our charity is George’s Fund which raises money for children in memory of George who died suddenly of a brain tumour. See details here: https://www.georgesfund.co.uk/
