Ryhall Bowls Club
Ryhall Meadows Playing Fields, Ryhall, Rutland, PE9 4ER
The Playing Fields in Ryhall have a long sporting history, with quoits being played on the site over one hundred years ago. Ryhall Bowls Club was first established in the early 1950s with a wooden structure alongside the green. This was replaced with a fantastic brick built Clubhouse in 1992, which was funded by Club members and an early form of crowd funding.
Over the years membership has varied, and now we have an energetic committee who are keen to promote the Club and encourage new members to take up the sport.
Roll-ups take place on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, and new members are most welcome to join us. Wear flat shoes and we will provide the bowls!
At the end of the bowling season, we hold a Roving Jack competition and a BBQ which help with fund raising and provide an enjoyable social opportunity to reflect on the season’s bowling.
