Membership

Membership Fees for 2024 season

Full Membership................£85.00

Social Membership............£15.00

Junior Membership............Free

Every person wishing to become a member must be proposed by and seconded by two full or life members, one of whom should be a member of the management committee. The application shall be posted on the club notice board at least fourteen (14) days before the date of election. The election of members shall be vested solely in the management committee.

Full Membership

A Full Member admitted to the club in accordance with Rule 7 may take part in all club activities.

Full members may apply for a key to the clubhouse, charges determined by the management committee will be applicable.

When membership ceases all keys must be returned to the club when the original purchase price will be refunded.

Any member deemed to have given outstanding service to the club may be nominated for Life Membership by any member. Such nominations require the unanimous support of the management committee prior to ratification at an Annual General Meeting. Life members shall enjoy the privileges of a Full Member of the club.

Junior Membership

A Junior may be admitted to the club in accordance with Rule 7 and take part in all club bowling activities under the supervision of a full member subject to the following.

  •  The annual Junior Membership subscription will be payable until age 18 when the adult subscription will apply.
  •  Junior members have no voting rights.
  •  Junior members may not be elected to the management committee or become officers of the club.
  •  Junior members will not be allowed to purchase Keys to the clubhouse.

Social Membership

The number of Social Members admitted in accordance with Rule 7 shall be determined by the management committee, preference being given to spouses/partners of Full Members.

  •  The full annual social membership subscription will be payable when the application is accepted.
  •  Social members may take part in all activities except outdoor bowling.
  •  Social Members have no voting rights.
  •  Social Members may not be elected to the management committee or become officers of the club.
  •  Social members will not be allowed to purchase keys to the clubhouse.
