Sutton Valence Gardeners' Association

SVGA

Sutton Valence Gardeners' Association is one of the oldest gardening societies in Kent. Our minutes go back to 1887, and these early minutes suggest 10 years existence before that. The membership fee is £10 per year and this will give you free entry to 3 talks per year and 10% discount at various places as detailed below. We have an annual Spring and Autumn Show at which members can show produce from their garden and/or allotment plus cookery and handicraft. Children of members and non members are very welcome to enter items into our shows too.

A Royal Horticultural Society benefit

Ross holds a Royal Horticultural Society benefit card on behalf of SVGA, which offers 50% discount for up to 2 members, with unlimited use, to visit any RHS Garden (RHS Bridgewater, RHS Harlow Carr, RHS Hyde Hall, RHS Rosemoor and RHS Wisley), except during RHS Flower Shows and RHS Glow events.
