The interviews were done by David Grieve. They feature residents of Sydling, and are mainly concerned with their memories of the second World War. Many lived in other parts of the country at that time, and so their experiences are not necessarily local to Sydling, or Dorset, but are of interest anyway. A few were Dorset born and bred, and their memories focus on local places and people.
