After more than 19 months, Tarrant Keyneston SMBC finally returned to competitive play with two games in the Blackmore Vale League.

On Tuesday 26th October the Robbers took on Gillingham Gannets in the "Shorties" Division (with teams randomly drawn in groups there is no Division 1, 2, 3, etc. so the three divisions are of equal standing, and have been named).

It was very much a game of two mats with large wins on both. Fortunately, John Beckford's trio on Mat 2 had a bigger win than the Gillingham players on Mat 1, so the game finished 38 - 32 (4 - 2) in our favour.

The following evening the Kops entertained Templecombe A in the "Pfizer" Division. It was a similar situation to the Tuesday night name, with big differences on both mats. On this ocassion the visitors came out on top, with a final score of 36 - 40 (2 - 4).
