Toilet/Kitchenette project, April 2026

The upkeep of any small parish church is considerable and dependent upon voluntary contributions for general maintenance.  This is not easy to raise in a small parish community but the PCC pride themselves on keeping their church alive and a delight for all to visit.

The PCC and Friends of Tetcott Church  group have been working very hard to preserve the church as a vibrant meeting place for the whole community but in order to continue it was recognised that they needed a toilet and basic kitchen facilities.   It has taken 3 years but in April 2026  the project was finally completed.

Approximately  £40,000  needed to be raised and the PCC and community  are extremely grateful to the generous donations from Trusts, Funds, Charities, local Community Fund, individuals and all the fund raising events organised by the Friends of Tetcott Church.

Thank you all.

A special service will be held on Sunday 7th June to celebrate the completion of the project

Easter Egg Hunt, 4th April 2026

This year’s Easter egg hunt was very well attended and the fact that our new Toilet block was finished in time was very appreciated. This year as well as the usual Easter crafts and egg hunt the children were also invited to go on a nature scavenger hunt around the church yard. They also helped plant wildflowers and positioned bug houses they had previously made at Clawton school. The children also helped position birds and Bat boxes made for us by Keith with off cuts of wood saved from the building of our Toilet block.
