Well done to Thirsk BC on retaining the Eden Endersby Shield for another year. This annual competition played between teams from Sessay and Thirsk originated when friends, Mr Eden and Mr Endersby, (from Thirsk and Sessay) decided there should be a competitive match between the clubs. These enjoyable evenings are always followed by the "traditional" bowls suppers!
